F92 GTurbo from 9ff based on the Porsche 911 (992) GT3

The best of both worlds combined!

The F92 GTurbo is a turbo conversion kit for the 992 GT3, which now sets new standards in terms of performance, driving dynamics and driving pleasure.

The 911 is not only the first of its kind, but also combines the classic characteristics of a naturally aspirated engine with the brutal power reserves of a turbo engine.

The result is a vehicle that shows its full potential in every driving situation and puts a smile on your face – whether on the race track, the country road or the motorway. The test vehicle from the pictures, a Manual Gearbox with 760 PS and 750 NM, shows how intense the concept is.

The sprint of 100 at 200 km / h in just 5,0 seconds gives an idea of the potential of the conversion. The engine remains running at dizzying speeds 9000 U / min easy to rev, and the driving experience is still reminiscent of a purebred naturally aspirated engine.

Bolt-on tuning without compromise

The special thing about the F92 GTurbo is the bolt-on philosophy. This isn't just a turbo engine being put into a GT3 body - instead, the already high-revving naturally aspirated engine is given a smart upgrade with a precisely tuned charger set. All changes fit seamlessly into the vehicle without the need for extensive modifications to the chassis or the heart of the XNUMX.

If you want, you can even easily return the GT3 to its original state. This is important for fans who value value retention and flexibility. And of course, the kit is not only intended for the manual transmission, but also for the PDKto pay more attention to the GT3 touringto pay more attention to the GT3 RS as well as the ST.

And that’s not all: In the near future, another variant with an internally reinforced engine is planned, which will deliver an incredible performance of 1.000 PS This naturally makes the heart of every horsepower junkie beat faster and makes the F92 GTurbo a project whose journey has only just begun.

Driving pleasure and versatility redefined

The F92 GTurbo has two clearly defined boost pressure levels, which you can choose between using a switch. In the smaller one, the boost pressure is around 0,2 barHere the GT3 shows its traditional face:

It still feels like a pure naturally aspirated engine, the torque and power increase linearly with the speed, and the characteristic revving up to the red zone remains unadulterated. Ideal for the Racetrackwhen precise response and the most authentic driving experience possible are important.

For high-speed fans who want to show what the car is capable of on the highway, there is the large level with around 0,5 to 0,6 bar boost pressure. This is where the F92 GTurbo unfolds its full power: 760 PS and 750 NM ensure that you can access an almost inexhaustible power reserve from around 2500 rpm, which lasts up to the upper speed range without any loss of power.

With the higher boost pressure, you no longer have to squeeze the engine to feel the maximum performance - the excess power is available in almost every situation, but even here without losing the characteristic naturally aspirated engine feeling.

the GT3 DNA remains

The interplay of revving pleasure and turbo power is guaranteed to inspire. According to 9ff, the driving behavior always remains balanced, the balance between the front and rear axles remains unchanged, and the actual GT3 DNA intact. This is how a seemingly impossible feat is accomplished:

A 911 that, on the one hand, offers the familiar racetrack experience of a high-revving naturally aspirated engine, but on the other hand, opens up performance potential in regions that were previously reserved for pure turbo models.

The development of the turbo kit is no one-off. 9ff has already attracted attention in the past with ambitious conversions and set various best times and speed records in previous GT3 generations. And this experience was incorporated into the F92 GTurbo.

Everything is perfectly coordinated: the 9ff manifoldthe exhaust systemthe Intake air guide, charge air cooling system as well as the Software of engine and transmission. The result is an overall concept that retains its suitability for everyday use despite extreme performance.

Loud & quiet? No problem!

The F92 GTurbo has nothing to hide in terms of acoustics either. With the flap closed, it sounds almost like a standard GT3, subtle but powerful. If you open the flap, you can enjoy the full sound, which - coupled with the gentle whistling of the turbos - is a feast for the ears. But it never becomes unpleasantly or even obtrusively loud, so long trips are fun even without earplugs.

The flexibility of the concept is enormous: race track with linear suction feeling? No problem. Then do a brutal sprint on the highway? Possible at any time. The numbers speak for themselves. According to the video, test bench runs confirm the powerful performance, but only on the road, when real air cooling and real airflow come into play, does the full potential become apparent.

The F92 GTurbo easily competes with purebred Super athletes and at the same time delivers a driving experience that will delight you again and again. In addition, as already mentioned above, there is the option of returning the GT3 to its standard condition if desired. Anyone who might want to sell the car at some point will not be faced with the problem of an irreversible tuning measure.

Idea and implementation are unique

The concept of retrofitting is unique and makes the F92 GTurbo a project that is much more than a mere performance increase – it is an investment in unlimited driving pleasure, coupled with at least a little economic sense.

In our eyes, the F92 GTurbo is the ultimate proof that you don't have to choose between a high-revving naturally aspirated engine and brutal turbo power - you can have both. Image and video credits/source: 9ff
